All About Me

 

Hello! My name is Jaimie Shaffer and I am a second grade teacher at West Clay Elementary.  This is my second school year with Carmel Clay Schools, and I am so excited to be a member of the West Clay family!

 

In the Spring of 2011 I graduated from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education.  While finishing my undergraduate degree, I began my coursework towards my Master of Science degree in Instructional Leadership with a concentration in Education, also from Robert Morris University, and achieved my graduate degree in 2012.  I grew up in Pittsburgh, and after teaching there for tw years, my husband and I relocated to Carmel, Indiana last October.

My husband Neil, and I live in Carmel with our two amazing little dogs, Bruce and Cooper.  In my free time, I love traveling, being outside with our dogs, spending time with family, and watching Steeler games.
